Meet the Team
Managing Director
James 'Jimmy' O'Rourke
James 'Jimmy' O’Rourke has been working in the energy and infrastructure industries for over 20 years. As a qualified Mechanical Fitter & Machinist, Jimmy has spent time in manufacturing workshops, project management, ethanol plants, water treatment plants, more recently as Rig Manager & Well Operations Supervisor.
Jimmy understands the importance of team coordination up & down the supply chain, which he believes is imperative to deliver the best outcomes for clients. Jimmy is competitive and pushes himself to succeed and takes any opportunity to further his learning.
Jimmy is currently part-time undergraduate studying toward Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). He enjoys mentoring others in his team and bringing others along in their career development. Creating pathways to sustainable employment for Indigenous Australians was one of Jimmy's motivations for starting Worksite Insight.
Outside of work Jimmy enjoys spending time with his 3 young boys and amusing them with play dough or colouring books. He also enjoys a round of golf and spending time with his eldest 19-year-old son.
